We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer to design and build the server-side systems behind our clients' software and SaaS platforms. You'll work directly with clients and our internal team to architect solutions that scale, not just ship features that work today.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for client projects.
- Work directly with clients and our internal team to scope technical requirements.
- Review code from other engineers and maintain quality standards across projects.
- Estimate technical scope and timelines during project planning.
- Contribute to architecture decisions on new and existing platforms.
- Write and maintain automated tests to catch issues before they reach production.
- Debug and resolve production issues as part of our on-call rotation.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience with at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Comfortable working with relational and non-relational databases at scale.
- Experience deploying and maintaining services on AWS, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
Skill & Experience
- You have at least 3 years' experience as a backend or full-stack developer.
- You have experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- You have previous experience working in an agile environment – think two-week sprints.
- You are comfortable communicating directly with clients, not just internal teams.
